No shocker here.

I was growing my hair for about five months now, I used to be bald. My hair had become so long it covered my eyes.

This morning on my way home from work, I saw a barber half-asleep in his shop. And I decided to shave it all off.

Now my scalp feels like sand paper again, my towel clings to it like velcro. And for a change, I’ve become a looker.

There’s something minutely traumatic about losing your hair like that. It’s like being tazered. And suddenly I feel cool tunnels of air against the sides of my head, behind my ears. I feel that a great weight had been lifted. Like I woke up.

A friend told me that I look like an unfinished doll.

Definitely.

What do I do with my shampoo?
